Angela Bassett is an award-winning actress, known for roles like Tina Turner and Ramonda in Black Panther. She's been married to actor Courtney B. Vance since 1997. The couple welcomed fraternal twins — daughter Bronwyn Golden Vance and son Slater Josiah Vance — via surrogate on January 27, 2006, after years of IVF. #AngelaBassett #BronwynVance #CourtneyBVance #BlackPanther #Harvard #LeBalDesDébutantes #MotherDaughter #TwinTuesday #HollywoodFamily #BlackExcellence #shorts

Bronwyn is now a student at Harvard. As a child, she often mimicked her mother, and both twins grew up playing piano and guitar. In 2024, Bassett and Vance became empty nesters when the twins left for college .

In November 2025, Bronwyn made her debut at the exclusive Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris, wearing a custom Stéphane Rolland gown. Her twin brother Slater escorted her, and her father shared a father-daughter dance with her at the ball. Bronwyn called the experience "like feeling like a princess for one night".
