Paul McCartney never forgot John Lennon's compliment about Here, There and Everywhere. Decades later, asked to pick a favourite on his podcast, Paul chose the same song.

A brief music-history story with original commentary, a short excerpt of Paul's own podcast recollection, and the song itself. Performance footage is from Give My Regards to Broad Street (1984), not the private conversation or the 1966 writing session. The brief John Lennon performance shot is illustrative.
