Ozzy's biggest musical inspiration was the Beatles.
He once said, "I always wanted to be a Beatle." He also said that if he could be anyone for a day, he'd choose John Lennon or Paul McCartney. He even secretly hoped one of his sisters would marry a Beatle.
This unforgettable meeting happened when Ozzy and Paul McCartney were both guests on the Howard Stern Show in 2001. For someone who credited the Beatles with inspiring him to become a musician, it was a true full-circle moment. The admiration was mutual, Paul had nothing but kind words to say about Ozzy and his music. #shorts
