???? Paul McCartney opened up on Good Hang with Amy Poehler about the first famous person he ever met. When asked who he wanted an autograph from, he answered without hesitation: “The Queen.” The room erupted with laughter, and he added, “She’s great. I love the queen.”

???? Queen Elizabeth was crowned at 25, when McCartney was just 9 years old. Looking back, he joked, “She was a babe,” explaining that young boys at the time kind of liked her “in other ways than we shouldn’t have liked her.” He called meeting her around age 21 truly special.

???? Here’s the fun twist: his wife Nancy Shevell once told him, “She fancied you.” McCartney admitted there’s no way to know if it’s true, but smiled and said, “I like to think it’s true.” He also praised the Queen: “She had a good sense of humor.”
