1986.

The Prince’s Trust Concert brought together some of the biggest names in music and entertainment.

Among them was Tina Turner — the legendary voice behind “What’s Love Got to Do with It.”

And then came a special royal encounter.

Tina Turner greeted Princess Diana with a huge smile, creating one of those rare moments when two extraordinary women from completely different worlds met face to face.

Diana was one of the world’s most recognizable figures.

Tina was already an international music superstar.

The warmth of their greeting is what makes the photograph so memorable.

No stage.

No performance.

Just two iconic women sharing a genuine moment during a remarkable night of music.

Princess Diana and Tina Turner.

A beautiful snapshot from the Prince’s Trust era of the 1980s. ????????✨
