Tina Turner Performs at Oprah’s O Magazine Launch | Rare Oprah Show Footage (2000)

Another wonderful little piece of Tina Turner history from April 2000!

Following the launch of O, The Oprah Magazine, Oprah Winfrey shared highlights of the celebrations on her own television show, including a very special performance by her longtime friend Tina Turner!

Unlike the brief Entertainment Tonight report covering the same event, this footage comes directly from The Oprah Winfrey Show, giving us another glimpse of Tina's appearance at the star-studded launch party.

I've edited down the original television segment to concentrate on Tina, leaving out much of the surrounding Oprah material. Unfortunately, we still don't get a complete performance, but every surviving glimpse of Tina onstage is a treat!

With Tina in the midst of her Twenty Four Seven era, this is another delightful time capsule from the beginning of the new millennium, when two extraordinary women came together to celebrate an exciting new venture.

A little more television nostalgia for fellow Tina fans!
